Entrepreneurship & Innovation in Agribusiness -A Tool for the Empowerment of Rural Women

During the nine day mission the Israeli team together with The Israeli Embassy in New Delhi carried out a Pilot Training workshop for 25 participants as well as study visits to women led venture KAFRO (Fruit and Herbal Society) and The Horticulture Training Institute, in order to get familiarized with the local context and identify the needs for a joint long-term cooperation. The program of the workshop was broken down into several thematic sessions, each of which covered different areas of the overall topic. The participants found that business model canvas, teamwork, networking, and creativity techniques were the most beneficiary sessions. It was discussed that MCTC-MASHAV could offer support and training on the topic of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Women Empowerment in order to support the CoE (Centers of Excellent) distributed across India.
