In the global pursuit of fundamental human rights, gender-based violence (GBV) persists as a formidable and deeply entrenched challenge. Addressing this requires a profound shift beyond conventional methods toward innovative, survivor-centered strategies that foster genuine healing and empowerment. The complexity of GBV, especially in times of crisis, demands a multi-faceted response that integrates prevention, protection, and long-term psychosocial support.
This course is designed to equip professionals with the advanced knowledge and practical skills needed to design and implement more effective systems for supporting survivors. The goal is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of GBV and to introduce transformative approaches for intervention, rehabilitation, and policy development that can be adapted to their unique local contexts.
This will be supplemented by a robust exchange of experiences and best practices among international participants and their Israeli counterparts, creating a collaborative forum to advance a world free from gender-based violence.
