Innovative Entrepreneurship: From an Idea to Starting a Business with a Focus on Agribusiness

MCTC conducted an on the spot course in cooperation with Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources. This course was held in continuation of an agricultural course that took place in Israel for Botswana participants. The course was on the topic of innovation and entrepreneurship with a focus on agribusiness. The course aimed to develop essential business skills among participants, such as the Business Model Canvas, marketing strategy tools and networking techniques in agriculture.

Objectives

The course aimed to impart tools and resources to promote the creation and expansion of business through the management of innovation processes and environments. By the end of the course the participants will have:

• Expanded their understanding of business entrepreneurship in practical planning, development, economics, operation, management and marketing terms.

• Undergone a hands-on experience in product/service planning, manufacturing, marketing and selling, business modeling and business planning of a small or medium enterprise.
